今週のミュージック・ニュース
I. 昨年のマドンナの移籍で大きな話題となった、世界最大のライブミュージック会社Live Nation（米国/L.A.）のアーティスト部門、Artist Nation だが、U2がマドンナの後を追うとの噂がある。どんな契約内容になるかなどは全くわかっていないが、前例のマドンナの場合、前払いで約1億ドルもの契約金と同社株購入権も含まれた。
II. 以前、Babyshambles（ベイビーシャンブルズ）のベースだったDrew McConnellが現在プレイする新バンドHelsinki（ヘルシンキ）。このバンドが、間もなく始るKid HarpoonのUK 22ヶ所ツアーにサポート・アクトとして参加する。Peggy Sue & the Piratesの出演も決定している。
III. 4/3（木）Club 8 の来日公演 ＠渋谷O-Nest チケット絶賛発売中。

IV. スウェディッシュ・バンド Love is All がニューアルバムの仕上げにかかっていることを明らかにした。しかし、発売時期に関しては明らかにされていない。
V. グラストンベリー・フェスティバル（UK）主催者側の発表によると、米国Hip Hop界の大御所 Jay-Z が今夏のヘッドライナーを務める事が決定。前回お伝えした通り、ニール・ダイアモンドのヘッドライナー出演も既に発表されている。
VI. 来日公演も大盛況だったThe Shout Out Louds がニューEPを発売予定。the StudioやVan Rivers、Subliminal Kid といったアーティストをremix に迎える。日本盤の発売に関しては未定だが、待ちきれないファンのみなさんはこちらをチェック！我らがShout Out Louds のベース、Ted Malmros がディレクターとして作成したPV、the Studio による “Impossible” の remix :

I. Rumor has it that U2 might follow Madonna’s lead and sign on with Live Nation’s artist division, Artist Nation. No word yet on what the deal might look like, but Madonna apparently received about $100 million in advances and stock options
II. Former Babyshamble’s bassman, Drew McConnell, and his new band, Helsinki, were recently announced as a support act for Kid Harpoon’s upcoming 22-date UK tour. Peggy Sue & the Pirates will also be on the bill.

IV. Swedish band Love is All recently announced that they are putting finishing touches on a new album. No word yet though on when it will be released.
V. Organizers of the Glastonbury Festival have confirmed that American hip hop mogul Jay-Z will headline this summer’s festival. Neil Diamond is also set to perform.
VI. The Shout Out Louds have announced they will be releasing a new EP featuring remixes by artists like the Studio, Van Rivers and Subliminal Kid. No word on whether or not it will be released in Japan.
