Amy Cooper（エイミー・クーパー）--- 'Mirrors'

どちらかと言うと有名ではない部類に入るロック・シンガーソングライター、Amy Cooper（エイミー・クーパー）だが、最新作'Mirrors'レベルのクオリティーが高い作品を今後発表し続けたとしたら、アッと言う間にその部類から脱却するだろう。このアルバムは、インディーロック界の牽引者John Vanderslice（ジョン・ヴァンダースライス）のプロデュースによって、勿論一聴に値する内容に仕上がっているが、それだけじゃない。インディーロック・アート・ポップのマジックに　かかった70年代ガレージっぽいテイスト。「シェリル・クロウとジョーン・ジェットを足して割り、さらにローリング・ストーンズを加えた」とでも言えば、この女性ニューヨーカーの最新作の大体の感じがつかめるか。Rallye Records から5/10発売予定。

Relatively unknown singer songwriter rocker Amy Cooper will not stay that way for very long if every album she puts out is like her latest 'Mirrors'. Produced by Indie rock impressario John Vanderslice this album shows a range that warrants a listen, and then some. It's got a 70's garage-like frame adorned with indie rock art-pop goodness. Think Cheryl Crowe meets Joan Jett overtop The Rolling Stones and you've got a rough idea of what this New Yorker brings to the table. This one comes out on Rallye Record
