代々木公園西口を出ると、向かい側にユニークかつ飛びっきりな小さなバーガーショップ、
Arms が目に入るだろう。その名も知れた本郷三丁目のFirehouse burger の元マネージャーが開いただけに、その精神と高水準さはここにも息づいている。

東京で食べた中では、楽勝でNo１ハンバーガー。素材は全てフレッシュで、野菜はまるでたった今、そこで摘んできたみたい。メニューには、最低でも１０種類のハンバーガーとサンドウィッチが並び、その全てにフライドポテトが付いてくる。注文したベーコンチーズバーガーがこれまた最高に美味しかっただけに、他のメニューも美味しそうに見え、一日中その場に座り続けて、全品を試してみたくさえなった。幸いにもお財布の都合により実行はしなかったものの、そのうち試してみるかも・・・

ハンバーガー若しくはサンドウィッチとドリンクでだいたい1500円。安くはないが(個人的意見としては)、他のどのバーガーショップよりも、払うだけの価値があるものを提供するべく努力していると思う。納得の量だったし、ドリンクも大きくて、全て新鮮そのもの。安くはないが、お金に代える価値あり。
雰囲気: 5 / 5
とても入りやすく、カジュアルな雰囲気が気に入った。さらに、素朴なアメリカン風のテーブルや壁飾りが最高のハンバーガーを楽しむのにはもってこい。これに加え、食後には目の前の道路を横切って代々木公園で散歩を楽しむという、完璧なフルコースを堪能できる特典もあり。

Arms/Yoyogi
Located just opposite of the West exit of Yoyogi park, you will find a quaint yet suberb little burger joint called Arms. Owned by a former manager of Hongo Sanchome’s famed Firehouse burger, Arms embodies much of the same personality of its mentor and all the goodness too.
Taste: 4.5 / 5
Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in Tokyo. The ingredients were all extremely fresh and the vegetables seemed as if they had just been plucked from a nearby garden. The menu looked to have about at least ten different burgers and sandwiches, all of which come with a complimentary side of fries. I had a bacon cheeseburger and absolutely loved it, but seeing all of the other options just made me want to sit there all day and try everything. Lucky for my wallet I didn’t try, but perhaps someday I will.

For a burger or sandwich and a drink, you can expect to pay about \1500. While this is by no means cheap (in my opinion) I did feel that they made much more of an effort than many other burger places to make sure you get your money’s worth. The portions were a good size, the drinks were large and everything was fresh. Not cheap, but well worth the money.
Atmosphere: 5 / 5
I love that it felt so inviting and so casual. Further, the rustic Americana feeling of the tables and wall decorations makes for the perfect setting to enjoy a great burger. As an added bonus, when you are finished you can complete the perfection the experience by simply crossing the street and going for a nice stroll in Yoyogi park.
